National Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers Hires Respectable Washington, DC Lobbying Firm.

WASHINGTON, DC – March 23, 2016

The National Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (NAFEC) recently hired Lucas I Compton, a Washington, DC lobbying firm that will work alongside the association to raise awareness of freestanding emergency centers as a high-quality, accessible, emergency medical care option. NAFEC is excited for the partnership and to increase its presence in Washington, DC.

After meeting with several quality lobbying firms in Washington, DC, NAFEC chairman Dr. Nicholas McLain explained how impressed he was with the credentials and leadership Lucas I Compton displayed.

Lucas | Compton is a bi-partisan government relations and public relations firm led by longtime Washington, DC attorney and Capitol Hill veteran Travis Lucas, who has served in senior-level positions for U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), among others. Gary Compton, a fixture in Washington, DC and Texas lobby circles, along with Mike Chapman, notable for his service as legislative director to U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) and U.S. Congressman Jake Pickle (D-TX) and as an in-house lobbyist for the American Medical Association, round out the twelve professionals that have been retained by some of the nation’s premier names in business, energy, and healthcare.

"Many policy leaders closely watched as this type of emergency care model spread across Texas and Colorado. These well-regulated free-standing emergency centers provide twenty-four hour access to all, and they are frequently close to consumers homes and workplaces,” remarked Mike Chapman, Government Affairs Director for Lucas | Compton. “We are educating policymakers on how the industry can make a positive impact.”
